Booking Form

Fill in the form to book the space, on a first come, first served basis. You can reserve up two months in advance. MUST be booked by the Thursday of the week before. If not booked ahead of time the space is open to all. 

Possibilities for ways to use the booked space:

  • Begin a creative process
  • Hold a sharing of a work in progress
  • Invite people to experiment with an idea
  • Trial a way of working with others
  • Generate a discussion
  • Practice your practice, share your methods, rehearse your work.
  • Let us know if you want this to be open door or a closed space.
  • Let us know if you want people to join you and we’ll share the info.

Groundspace Surgeries – a member of the team will be available after class on Fridays, from February onwards, to answer queries you may have about the program, or give funding / development advice.

Teacher Development  If you want to develop a teaching practice or to begin teaching at professional level for the first time, we encourage you to use Groundspace to offer an open class and share your practice. These open classes can take place any Friday that we don’t already hold a class and you can offer just one, or as many as you feel you need. You will receive free mentoring from Zosia Jo. Zosia has over 10 years experience teaching in a variety of settings. She has delivered teacher training internationally for community dance workers, dance teachers and youth training schemes. Zosia has an MA in Creative Practice from Independent Dance/Trinity Laban and lectures part time for University of Wales Trinity Saint David BA Dance.

Free kit available – National Theatre Wales have kindly offered use of camera, tripod, etc, which are available to book during Groundspace use. You will need to contact Simon Coates to arrange pick up/drop off direct with him.
